“EBC” BRAND CPVC RESIN

EBC Corporation’s proprietary brand CPVC resin(Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride)is a material that enhances the heat resistance of PVC resin (Polyvinyl Chloride) by approximately 20–40°C while retaining its excellent mechanical and chemical properties. It is manufactured by adding chlorine to PVC resin.

Conventional PVC resin may soften in high-temperature environments, but CPVC resin remains stable under such conditions, ensuring safe usage.

It appears white or light yellow, in odorless and non-toxic granules or powder form.

EBC Corporation offers two types of CPVC resin: pipe grade and fitting grade. These products are designed for long-term stability in applications such as pipes, fittings, and plates. Furthermore, customized product designs are available to meet customer requirements.

KEY APPLICATIONS

  • Hot/Cold Water Pipes and Components
    Due to its excellent heat resistance, CPVC resin is suitable for use in high-temperature environments. It also has superior insulation properties, making it widely used in residential and industrial heat-resistant pipes, fittings, valves, and other components.
  • Corrosion-Resistant Pipes, Containers, and Components
    CPVC resin demonstrates strong resistance to acids, alkalis, salts, and other chemicals. It is widely utilized in industries such as chemical manufacturing, water treatment, marine engineering, light industry, electronics, and mining. It can be processed into various pipe diameters for transporting media or into plates for other corrosion-resistant components. like manufacturing towers, tanks, fittings, valves, and rods.
  • Building Materials
    With its excellent flame retardancy, smoke suppression, high strength, and wear resistance, CPVC resin is used for manufacturing fire sprinkler pipes, door/window profiles, and fire-resistant flooring. Combining CPVC resin with foaming agents allows the production of foamed insulation materials, which provide effective insulation, flame retardancy, and smoke suppression.
  • Electric Cable Casings
    CPVC resin is ideal for manufacturing bushings for high-voltage power cable transmission. Compared to PVC resin, it offers superior heat resistance, flame retardancy, and insulation, making it widely used in urban power grid reconstruction.
  • Roof and Wall Panels
    CPVC resin has excellent UV resistance and weatherproofing, making it suitable for protective materials for roofs and exterior walls. It offers high strength and durability for long-term use.
  • Plastic Modifiers
    CPVC resin is used as a modifier to improve the impact strength, heat resistance, and flame retardancy of various plastics.
  • Plastic Modification
    With superior compatibility with polar plastics, CPVC resin is used to modify other plastics, enhancing their heat resistance and flame retardancy.
  • Corrosion-Resistant Synthetic Fibers
    Thanks to its high melt strength, CPVC resin is used in the production of synthetic fibers for items such as cocoons, filter cloths, and parachutes.
  • Heat-Resistant Electrical/Electronic Components
    CPVC resin is utilized in the manufacture of high-performance heat-resistant wafers and specialized components for industries such as electronics and electrical engineering.

PACKING

  • Small Packages: Packed in kraft paper bags weighing 25 kg each.
  • Large Packages: Packed in 650 kg flexible container bags.

Packaging can be customized based on customer requirements.

QUALITY AND CONDITIONS

  • The product is odorless and non-toxic.

  • Store in a dry, ventilated area. Avoid sunlight and moisture. For small packages, do not stack more than 7 layers; for large packages, avoid stacking beyond 2 layers.

During transportation, protect the product from sunlight, rain, and heat, using clean and covered vehicles.
